MAHUA TOLA TADOBA is another addition to the luxury jungle lodge facilities by mahua Resorts 7 years afer the launch of its first facility at MAHUA VANN – PENCH NATIONALK PARK – M.P. Mahual Tola is 12 kms from Nagpur the Kolara Gate and (108 kms drive from Nagpur) The lodge has 12 luxurious air conditioned suites and cottages with elegant vanity bathrooms, machans, private verandah sitouts, with aesthetic decor and amenities such as (TV, mini fridge, coffee/ tea maker etc.) The resort has an inviting lounge with sofas, reading books about nature and wildlife and large tv screen for viewing of wildlife films and close circuit TV that captures the rare spotting of plenty of wildlife (Tiger, leopars, wild Boar, sloth bear (in the berry season) also jackals and fox etc in the plentiful of scrub and bush cover alongside the resort in the abutting river.

The Dining facility is a large and elegant space for 24 covers with beautiful verandah over looking a lovely lawn and a lotus pond on either side of the facility. The cuisine incorporates local “sau-ji” flavors apart from the traditional fresh cooked meals both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in the last 10 years has become India’s leading and amongst the most exciting Reserves with visible tiger sightings, wild dog, sloth bear and leopard sightings. A combination of Pench And Tadoba Tiger Reserve both within 100 kms of Nagpur city, we hope will assure our guests a unique getaway full of exhilarating wild life experience and the freshness in the backdrop of bountiful and diverse landscape as provided by the two reserves.

The Lodge
CENTRAL AREA
The resorts central area is a large colonial style bungalow with ample verandas on either side.The forecourt is a beautiful water body with lotus in bloom, bougainvilleas, and water palm. The back veranda overlooks large green lawns, thatched roof gazebo, camping hut and an open expanse of the orchard and the river front with dense green cover providing rich bird sightings.

This area houses the reception, dining, the lounge cum library and the support facilities such as kitchen, pantry & the stores etc. The swimming pool cum spa with activity areas is expected to be added in the near future

RESIDENTIAL AREA
This area comprises a mix of 12 elegantly designed cottages and suites providing luxury, comfort & conveniences of a high end.

The cottages comprise spacious bedrooms, entry courtyard with stairway to the Machans, vanity area, washroom and a front deck. The large rooftop Machan is a spot with a fantastic view of the TATR hills & the river, Bird watching, Stargazing and camping at night for the nocturnal sightings of occasional Wild boar, Sloth bear etc.

There are two blocks each comprising a combination of four suites which are ideal for groups and family's & yet provide each unit the privacy and comfort as becoming of an individuals needs.

Each cottage or suite is air conditioned with TV's, Refrigerator, Coffee tea maker and Hot & Cold shower etc. The cottages and suites have a combination of King or Twin beds.

CAMPING HUT
This is a unique feature at Mahua Tola which attempts to provide excellent residential facility for special interest groups such as researchers, photographers, naturalists, Bird Watcher Groups and School Groups at highly discounted prices in particular for long stays.

The Hut comprises space for four elegant beds with accompanying side tables, racks for luggage etc. Two common study tables, two separate vanity areas with two separate washrooms.

The hut provides for a common front porch or varandah overlooking the central areas of dining, lawns and the orchard etc. The hut also provides  for private camping for the keen bird watchers or campers on a private roof top machan overlooking the river and the dense foliage.
This facility's is likely to be operational by March 2016.

Living & Dining
The dining at Mahua Tola can indeed be an enriching experience since a number of options apart from the dining room are available for our guests.

The back veranda with it's Mashals is a perfect seating for candle light dinners over looking the lawns and the vast river front.

Dining option in the thatched gazebo or open lawns under the bright star studded skyline so typical of Tadoba can be equally exciting. For the more enterprising and smaller numbers dining on the river bed or the mango orchard is another option.

The chefs at Mahua Tola are well trained in providing sumptuous meals using local Indian recipes along with Continental and Chinese dishes as per the request of the guests. We provide fresh vegetables from our kitchen garden and even fruit from our orchard such as bananas, guavas, chikoos or plums.
